See the completed houses; meet the teams. The Block NZ Open Homes are back this year, with an open house scheduled for August 22.
Fans of The New Zealand Block will be delighted to hear that they will soon be able to walk around the four Townhouses, which are arguably the best we’ve seen in the series.
The New Zealand Block Open Homes is back and free to the public, with the Huia Road, Point Chevalier homes opening on Sunday August 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Due to health and safety rules, only the lower level of each house will be open.
Fans will have the chance to take a selfie with their favorite team – Connie and Rach, Tim and Arty, Meg and Dan, and Dylan and Keegan will be on hand to greet visitors.
And fans can even see each other on TV as the production crew film the event for an upcoming episode. There will be plenty of on-site entertainment including sponsor giveaways and coffee.

For those who want to see the entire houses and avoid the queues, the ticket The New Zealand Block Preview tours offer an exclusive chance to see both levels of the houses before the doors open to the public.
A number of house visit experiences led by site manager Peter Wolfkamp will take place over two weekends in August, 7, 8 and 14 and 15 between 11:30 am and 3:30 pm. A limited number of Preview Tours tickets are available from Moshtix.

Pt Chevalier townhouses under construction are the biggest and most expensive to build The New Zealand Block, and there is speculation that selling prices may even exceed $ 3 million.
No Block Open Houses took place last season when crews worked on apartments in the former Kingsland Fire Hall, due to limited access.
In previous years, the “open house mania” created long lines of fans, many of whom arrived at dawn for the chance to meet the teams.
The Block NZ airs Sundays at 7 p.m. and continues Monday through Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. on Three, and airs from 12 p.m. on ThreeNow
