Jack Grealish may be preparing for the semi-final game between England and Denmark, but a number of other Villa first-team players were back at Bodymoor Heath.
New signing Ashley Young returned for her first training session since joining Villa, while Matty Cash and Matt Targett also started the preseason.

There was also a chance for Sinisalo to be part of Villa’s first team given that first-choice goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is in Copa America with Argentina.
Jed Steer was there too, but with Villa’s first pre-season game two weeks away today against Walsall, it makes sense to get Sinisalo involved.
The 19-year-old goalkeeper joined Villa from FC Espoo in 2018 and has just returned from a solid loan spell for Ayr United’s Scottish side.
Reports from The Mirror in June suggest Celtic are hoping to sign Sinisalo this summer as they seek a new goalkeeper.
Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig are also believed to be excited, but Villa may well keep Sinisalo around the first team photo this summer to show him how appreciated he is at Villa Park.
Celtic will keep a close eye on the situation before potentially launching a raid on Villa for the Finnish teenager.
