A man is in custody after a nearly four-hour standoff with Schaumburg police on Sunday that began when officers were called to respond to a domestic situation.

Charges are being considered and police are continuing to investigate the incident which began around 4.35pm at a townhouse in the 100 block of Waterbury Circle.
