Village social district expands to include Tanglefoot Park, Barber School | food drink

The Spring Lake Village social district was expanded last Friday, allowing patrons to sip their favorite beer or cocktails while strolling through an even larger downtown area. This includes the village’s new $3.5 million park project, as well as the historic Barber School.

“Being able to continue to expand the social district is very exciting for the village,” said director of the village’s Downtown Development Authority, Stefanie Herder. “This has been one of DDA’s goals in improving and growing a pedestrian and cycle village.”
